Wednesday Morning Book Study
BIBS welcomes the Open Path and its late-winter book study group, which will examine the book, “Heart Treasure from the Enlightened Ones” by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Starting on March 1, this discussion group will meet five times. Starts at 9:30 a.m. at the BIBS Center. All are welcome. Here is the event flier.
Kathleen Rose of Boise Insight Sangha will teach Mindfulness 150 on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. starting on March 1 and continuing for five Wednesdays. This course will cover the foundations of mindfulness using materials from Insight Meditation Center, with focus on engaging practice in everyday life. No registration required.
Empty Gate Hosts Teacher, Retreat
The Boise Zen group, Empty Gate, will host zen priest Bon Soeng at 7 – 9 p.m. on Friday, February 10, and a one-half day sitting practice on Saturday, February 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Details are here: 2017-feb-retreat.
