Public Talk by: Loppon Jamyang Tsultrim – September 17, 2026
Loppon Jamyang Tsultrim, founder of the Nalanda Institute in Olympia WA will be giving a public talk in Boise on
the subject of “Living with Challenging Life Conditions,” on Sept 17, 2026, at 7:00 pm at the Linh Thứu Thiền Tự Buddhist Temple at 8813 W Ardene St, Boise ID 83709.
In addition to a Master’s Degree in Western Psychology, Loppon Jamyang holds an advanced degree in Buddhist studies and meditation through the Sakya Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism after 20 years as a monk and teacher in India. He has been working as a mental health therapist and Buddhist teacher in Olympia for the last 15 years and is a visiting instructor on Buddhist logic and epistemology at the International Buddhist Academy in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is currently engaged with a major translation project on the classic text Buddhist Logic and Valid Cognition.
