Satsang with Vincent J. Fortunato
A monthly Friday evening series beginning September 13th, 2019
Satsang is a Sanskrit term meaning “gathering together for the truth,” or, more simply, “being with the truth.” It refers to a group of like-minded people who engage in a spiritual dialogue.
Non-duality has its roots in Advaita Vedanta (non-dual knowing or just “not-two”) and the earliest of the Upanishads. Recently however, the non-dual approach has experienced a resurgence of popularity beginning with the early-mid 20th century teachings of Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta and is now an approach adopted by many contemporary spiritual teachers of different religious backgrounds.
Non-duality is a non-sectarian approach that points directly to your true nature much like the teachings and practices of Buddhism, but without the various cultural contexts that one often finds with different schools of Buddhism.
Each month, we will provide you with an opportunity to realize your true nature directly. Meetings will consist of a brief talk, a demonstration of the Living Method of Awakening, and time for questions and answers.
Suggested Donation: $20
