Zen Master Bon Soeng will return to Boise to give a Dharma Talk on 7 p.m. on Friday, July 29, at the BIBS Center, 660 N. 9th Street, Boise. He will then offer a half-day Zen Meditation Retreat from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 30.

Zen Master Bon Soeng received Inka (teaching authority) from Zen Master Seung Sahn in 1992 and became a Zen Master in 2001. He has been practicing Zen since 1975 and has practiced with Zen Master Seung Sahn since 1979. He is the Guiding Teacher of Empty Gate Zen Center in Berkeley, and the Boise Sitting Group. He is also a licensed psychotherapist in private practice specializing in the integration of Zen Buddhism and Western Psychotherapy.
