Moving Meditation
This is an open-level Iyengar yoga class. It is open to students of all shapes, sizes, and abilities. In this class, new students will learn the basic points of “doing yoga” and intermediate and advanced students will be introduced to more challenging poses. We’ll do standing poses, seated, forward and backward extensions, twists, arm balances, and inverted poses. The poses will be approached as moving meditations. The goal is to learn to use the poses to quiet the mind. Once a month, we will do restorative poses and practice breathwork. Props, modifications, and alternatives will always be offered. Iyengar yoga is a safe and ethical system with the goal of alignment to experience divinity.

I apologize if I missed this somewhere, but is there a way I could join in via Zoom or some other video service? I live in Nampa and it’s hard for me to get to Boise. Thanks so much for your help.
Recovery Dharma is a great group that offers support and the dharma to people struggling with addiction issues. Very supportive group to meditate with and bring your troubles during the discussion period after meditation.
We also have:
Empty Gate Zen Center on Thursday nights at 7pm (meeting both in person and online) – great group that has a discussion at the end
Morning Meditation from 6:30-7:30am Monday – Thursday
Beginners Mind Sangha is currently only meeting online on Wednesday nights, but a great supportive group!
Feel free to email me at: bibscenter2@gmail.com
Is Recovery Dharma right for me? Or another group would you suggest? Going through significant family change after a long time, feeling lost and hopeless. Searching for something that can help guide me, help me reflect and understand me, and help me heal. -Thank You
Not inside the building. No. There is a yard where they could play independently as long they don’t interrupt. Also, North Jr. high’s field is across the street. For now, other than the Recovery Dharma meetings, I believe there aren’t any classes meeting in person.
Is there a place for children to hang out while parent(s) are in class?
