Buddhist View 100: Foundations

This cornerstone course has seven sessions and presents the central points  of the Buddhist worldview. Led by Dan Black and Michelle Tae, this class covers the Budda’s cornerstone teaching, the Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path. M’tae is an ordained chaplain and longtime teacher in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hahn, and Dan has been presenting the Tibetan tradition since about 2001 as a senior student. This course is a natural continuation for beginners taking Paul Dragone’s class, Basic Intro 050, or for anyone wishing to hear, contemplate and meditate on foundational Buddhist teachings.

  • Starts Feb. 5 – Runs 7 weeks
  • Taught by Michelle Tae and Dan Black
  • Location: BIBS Center, 660 N. 9th Street
  • Register with Dan.
