The presenter is the guiding teacher at Empty Gate Zen Center and psychotherapist in Berkeley. Join us for a Dharma Talk on Friday 7 p.m. on Feb. 6 at the BIBS Center. On Saturday, Feb. 7, he will lead a half-day (8 a.m. to noon) meditation retreat as part of BIBS “Reflecting Gems” series on the first Saturday of each month. Empty Gate meets at BIBS on Thursday nights, 7 to 8 p.m.

Refuge Recovery: A new way
unfolds with Buddhist view
The Dharma-inspired addiction recovery group will meet at BIBS on Saturdays from 1 to 2 p.m. starting on January 31. Refuge Recovery is a peer led recovery path founded by Noah Levine, a Dharma teacher working worldwide to help people through the addiction recovery process.
