A Talk by Lama Jhampa Shaneman: June 30 – July 2

Jhampa Shaneman, a renowned Buddhist teacher in the Tibetan tradition, will lecture on Green Tara. Known as mothers of mercy and compassion, the Tara bodhisattvas embody the female aspects of the universe, giving birth to warmth, compassion, and relief from bad karma. Green Tara, being associated with action, offers succor and protection from all the unfortunate circumstances one can encounter within cyclic existence.
June 30: Mindful Compassion

July1: Tara & Tara Practice
Tara Practice is from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Tara Jenang is from 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm (with permission)
July 2: Guided Meditation & Potluck
From 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, with a potluck lunch to follow.
Cost of Event
Suggested donation is $15.00 per session or $60.00 for the entire weekend. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Location
June 30 and July 1 teachings will be at the LTTT Buddhist Temple at 8813 W. Ardene Street in Boise. The location of the July 2 teachings and potluck lunch will be announced.
